Celebrate the 2011 Teen Read Week October 16-22.
Teen Read Week is a time to focus on encouraging teens to read for the fun of it. This year's theme is Picture It @ your library. "Teen Read Week is an annual initiative of the Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA), in which librarians, educators, parents and other concerned adults encourage teens to read for pleasure and to become regular readers and library users." (Source: American Library Association Teen Read Week press kit) For more about award-winning young adult books, see
