His books were always big hits at our house. Richard Scarry's Best Christmas Book Ever! was originally published in 1981. The book includes two Christmas songs, a board game, a Christmas craft and numerous two- to four-page stories about the anthropomorphic animals in Busytown and their preparations for Christmas.
