Some, like the book Good Sports: Rhymes About Running, Jumping, Throwing, and More, can help motivate kids to be physically active, while others, like Bean Appetit: Hip and Healthy Ways to Have Fun with Food and The Busy Body Book: A Kid's Guide to Fitness more directly emphasize the benefits of healthy eating and exercise. Another book I recommend is Simply in Season Children's Cookbook, which stresses cooking with fruits, vegetables and herbs from the garden.
