Cover art of the bilingual children's book A Gift for Abuelita: Celebrating the Day of the DeadIf you are looking for a bilingual children's picture book about the Day of the Dead, I have one to recommend. It's A Gift for Abuelita: Celebrating the Day of the Dead / Un regalo para Abuelita: En celebracin del Dia de los Muertos. Written by Nancy Luenn and illustrated in mixed media by Robert Chapman, it's the story of a young girl still grieving after the death of her grandmother as she prepares for the Day of the Dead. I recommend A Gift for Abuelita for ages 7-11. In addition to the children's Day of the Dead books I have already recommended, are there others you like? If so, click on "Comments" below and share your recommendations.
