Kwanzaa music for kids is a great way to introduce children to the concepts of the holiday while having musical fun! Founded by Dr. Maulana Karenga in 1966, Kwanzaa is an internationally celebrated African cultural holiday that pays tribute to the rich cultural roots of African people. Kwanzaa is based on seven fundamental principles, which are referred to as the Nguzo Saba.

The second CD includes the deep, rich musical tracks of the first CD, featuring the vocals of Jacquie Godden and the percussion of James Imani Henry. Great for classroom use or for family listening. The music is contemporary R&B, in a style similar to Anita Baker or Luther Vandross. A 2000 Parents' Choice® Silver Honor winner
